I have been to Villa Mosconi several times over the past five years. I went on a weekday for dinner and was surprised to find the restaurant was mostly empty (it also happened to be a public holiday). The menu has been paired down from what I remember, but the service and food are still outstanding. Italian food as you expect it with professional staff. I will continue to visit on future trips.

Damien M2024-04-26I have been coming here for well over 30 years. It is one my favorite old school Italian spots in NYC. The food is amazing, the service efficient, and you can actually have a conversation while dining and not have to strain to hear ( not too many millenniums Etc come here) It’s a real old NY find of a restaurant and I hope they’re around for another 30 years

I was here for dinner with a group of friends, and really, all I tried was the spinach fettuccine with pesto and it was surprisingly excellent. There's not a whole lot of vegetarian on the menu unless you want to eat spaghetti with marinara sauce, which I don't. So the pesto was a great option.
