Dear patrons,
With the great uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak we wanted to reach out and keep you abreast of our plans for the foreseeable future. As government and health officials urge caution and social distancing measures we realize that many people may be apprehensive about dining out. We are currently fielding many calls about scheduled parties and postponements. We will be waving any cancellation fees for parties booked through May. This period may be extended as the fluidity of the pandemic situation dictates. We will gladly attempt to reschedule any parties we have on the books. Please do not hesitate to call to inquire about rescheduling but rest assured we will do whatever we can to accommodate your needs and wishes.
As you may imagine, we are closely following the news out of the rest of the world, particularly Italy where we have many family, friends, and business relationships. If their situation serves as a model we can anticipate that the number of cases (particularly in the melting pot that is our beloved New York City) may grow exponentially as testing capabilities increase. Currently, we do not plan to suspend operations. However, as this is an extremely fluid situation with rapid new developments, we are taking this on a day-to-day basis. We have always employed best practices to ensure the sanitary integrity and safety of our food and establishment and will continue to do so.
Looking a bit down the road, we ARE currently accepting reservations for Easter with our normal pre-fixe menu and three seatings. We are recording contact information for all reservations in case of any changes. If plans change in regards to that specific day, we will try to give customers enough advance notice to make alternative plans.
We encourage all of our patrons to exercise the recommended caution from health experts. These are unprecedented times for our city, country, and world. For the latest updates with regards to our operations please check our social media accounts. That will be the place to receive the most up-to-date news about any changes to our operation plans if they come.
We thank you all for your continued patronage and support.
Sincerely,
The Mosconi family and Villa Mosconi staff
