From the Villa, with Love

“What’s this?”, you ask. It’s our first ever blog!
Why a blog? hmmmm?

Well, as many of you know, this past August marked 38 years of service at 69 Macdougal Street here in the Greenwich Village. It has been our honor to get to know all of you so well. Your warm faces and intimate stories have made us feel at home for so long.

Over the past 38 years the faces greeting you as you walked through our front doors have changed a bit but the Mosconi family tradition of home-bred hospitality and good food has continued to be our priority. The new generation of servers carry on our love of company and homemade Italian food.

We at Villa Mosconi know that we have the best diners. We love you like family, and so we’d like to give you a little taste of where we come from – the factors that have influenced our lives and led us to where we are today.

Our hope is that you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed growing up around the table listening to our relatives tell tales of when they were growing up, all while enjoying a feast of delicious homemade meals.
